Where It All Began
Jeremy started out in the carpet industry at the age of 17, working with his brother-in-law to learn the trade. At the age of 20, he began laying carpets between Werribee and Geelong while living in Lara.
Moving Into the Commercial Trade
After a period of 10 years, Jeremy went into the commercial side of the trade. He soon partnered up with another carpet layer, eventually installing some of Melbourne’s larger commercial works and homes for many flooring retailers across Melbourne’s CBD and Eastern suburbs.
A Foundation Built on Experience
Some of Jeremy’s previous installation works include IMAX Cinemas Adelaide, HOYTS Melbourne Central, Eureka Skydeck, the Crown Metrapol foyer, numerous works at Crown Casino, the Grand Hotel foyer, many multi-story apartment buildings, the Australian Supreme Court and police stations across Victoria. He holds a current police check and working with children check.
A New Challenge in Retail
After first opening up shop in Ballan’s industrial estate in 2014, Jeremy now has a store in the heart of Ballan. He believes the retail industry will present new challenges and feels his wealth of both knowledge and experience will ensure the right outcome for each client’s needs.
Part of the Community
Jeremy has lived in Beremboke for the past 15 years. He has three sons, two of whom go to Ballan Primary School.
He firmly believes in supporting the local community though sponsorship of sporting groups and organisations. He is looking forward to becoming even more involved in the township and has a keen interest in permaculture design, natural building techniques, gardening and meditation.
